By registering for
e-IRB
services you will be able to:
-
Access "My
Protocols at a Glance" - a summary of your current and past IRB
submissions including online access to electronic versions of letters
sent to you by the IRB.
-
Submit a New
Project application
for review
-
Upload an
electronic document
associated with a project that already has an HRPP project number
-
Submit a Protocol
Amendment,
revised consent or a Response to an IRB inquiry related to your project.
-
Submit an online
report of an Adverse Event
Registration
works this way:
-
When you complete the UCSD
online
web tutorial and assessment, you will receive a "P-number" that is
a temporary password.
-
If you have taken the tutorial, your P-number is displayed on your
completion
certificate. If you have taken the tutorial but have forgotten or
misplaced the P-number, you can have it automatically
sent to the e-mail address you used to register for the tutorial.
-
The first time you login
to use secure e-IRB services, you use the "P-number" as your password
and
your last name as your user ID.
-
At the first login, you will be asked to create a username and password
of your own choosing.
-
After creating your username and password, you use that combination
each
time you login to use secure e-IRB services.
